We have officially made 6 months into the year of 2026. To God be the glory.
Over the weekend I read of earthquakes recorded outside of the my county. Different locations of the island had reports of people feeling the shaking. For me however I felt nothing. As I was doing some tidying up on Sunday night, the Lord said to me “ just like the earthquakes happening with you not noticing, so too am I shifting and shaking things around you.”
This word came with confirmation because throughout the week I saw videos popping up about a shift is happening, coming etc. etc.
As we enter into this new month, for many it’s a chance at starting afresh , one half of the year has gone and what they weren’t able to accomplish, they now feel a sense of renewal to start again.
My encouragement to some of you is start again, if you need to.
For some you may need to hold on a little longer, where you may not feel or see anything happening, the Lord is indeed working on your behalf. He is shifting things into place.
In my time of prayer this morning, he spoke to me about being patient and trusting him to bring to fulfillment some things he has spoken to me about on a personal level.
He said, “ I am adjusting, aligning and appropriating.”
When you look at the definitions of each of these words, I’m sure it will bring understanding to your current situation.
Adjusting: Changing or modifying something so that it fits, works better, or is more suitable for a particular purpose or situation.
- Example: Adjusting the volume on a radio to make it easier to hear.
Aligning: Arranging or positioning things so that they are in a straight line, match each other, or are in agreement.
- Example: Aligning the wheels of a car to improve handling.
Appropriating: Taking, assigning, or setting aside something for a particular use or purpose; in some contexts, it can also mean taking something that belongs to someone else.
- Example: The government appropriated funds for a new school.
- Example: Someone was accused of appropriating another person’s ideas without permission.
Now these are all dictionary meanings and examples. But with the help of Holy Spirit you can look at it from a biblical perspective.
What I got was this:
The Lord is doing some adjustments in our character. The way we think, speak and communicate our feelings. When we partner with him He is showing us where we need his help and healing.
He is also aligning. Aligning our hearts, our will and purpose back to his intended plans for our lives.
And lastly He is appropriating. He is positioning us in his kingdom. Molding us into vessels readily available to be used by him. He is bringing you out of the captivity the enemy led you into. Deliverance is happening. Are you able to perceive it?
The word says “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
James 1:17 NIV
Note the word shifting. So while the world around is shifting, The Lord remains the same. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Every word and promise spoken will come to pass. He is true to his word and we as a people need to yield to his promptings, his direction and stay rooted in his word.
I prophecy to you that By the end of this month your life is not going to look the same. As a person you will see change within yourself and circumstances and that I am confident of . Why? Because, what the Lord has started in you wherever you are at right now in your walk is going to change and the evidence of his hand at work in your life will be seen. As you present yourself as a living sacrifice , cultivate intimacy and work on building a relationship with Him, he will do exactly what is needed in this season of your life. He will meet you where you are. Like the father who ran to meet the prodigal son who after coming to his senses journeyed back to his father’s house.
Stay prayerful about the situations you’re in, the Lord is shifting things into their rightful place. Shifting things away to make room for more. Shifting your thought patterns because truthfully, you need to get your eyes of yourself or others. Ultimately your focus should be on Him. Set your eyes on him, your mind on things above.
I pray this ministers to you.
Blessings to you and your household.
Shalom
