This month starts off with a bang or should I say a crackle. By leading of the Holy Spirit, we enter into the month of August with a mindset of tending daily to the altar of prayer.
Where you’ve felt distant, this is the time to reconnect.
Where you’ve felt hopelessness, the altar is where hope will arise.
Where you felt weak, the altar is where you regain your strength.
Throughout Scripture we read about altars and monuments being established for the Lord.
Is your prayer life established?
New Testament goes on to declare that we, yes you and I have now become the temple of the Most High.
In the Tabernacle,the high priests tended daily ensuring the fire on the altar never went out.
The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” — Leviticus 6:13
This month is the 8th month of the year.
The number eight often symbolizes new beginnings, renewal, entering into a new covenant or phase.
How wonderful it is to serve a God who gives us another chance at life.
One who, even if July wasn’t your best ,if it was the one where you ran from him maybe because you were was angry at him or maybe you went out seeking vengeance in your own way, only to get back to that place where you know you shouldn’t have done or said some things.He still stands with arms wide open.
To accept you, to love you, to comfort you , to let you know that it’s going to be alright.

To add to His marvelous kindness,
1 Corinthians 3:9 (NKJV) declares:
“For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building
As I sought the Lord for this month’s word. I sensed Him shifting my focus from the altar itself to when we faithfully tend it. I then heard Him say Auxiliary help is on the way.
Auxiliary help is on the way. What God has called you to do will not be accomplished by your strength alone. He is sending the right people, the right provision, and the right grace to support His purpose in your life. When God gives an assignment, He also provides the assistance needed to fulfill it.
The help you need above any help comes from your Comforter, Holy Spirit.
Your help comes from the Lord!
This month of prayer is a call to action. The Lord proposed it and I said “yes Lord.” It is a call to press in during prayer and as you do, it adds fire to your altar. Seek the face of the One who knows it all. He says when we seek him with all our heart, we will find Him.
In the world we say, nobody likes a know-it-all.
But we serve the One who knows it all.
So as He speaks,
Take all He says and heed to the instructions He gives.
Take the words of comfort, encouragement and rebuke with the same tenacity. Embrace each with an open and teachable heart, for they all serve a divine purpose. Comfort restores the weary, encouragement strengthens the faint, and rebuke refines character. God uses each in its proper season to shape us into the image of Christ. Do not cling only to the words that soothe you; also welcome the words that correct you, for both are expressions of His love and instruments of your spiritual growth.
He corrects those He love 🙏🏽

Prayer is not something we do when we feel like it or when we enter a season where we feel low or as a last resort. It is a lifestyle.
If you had a fire wouldn’t it need wood for fuel?
How can your life continue to thrive on every level?
It keeps going when you stay connected to the one who created you.
Allow the Lord to aid you, Holy Spirit will be your helper in fanning back into flame what the Lord has already placed inside you. ( 2 Timothy 1:6 )
I pray this month is filled with the love, mercy, forgiveness, blessing, favor ,and fear of the Lord for you and your household.
