The Foot of the Lord Crushing the Altars

During my time of prayer, I had a vision of the foot of the Lord stomping and crushing altars. These altars were positioned at the front of homes and were connected to people and bloodlines that were servicing them as well as ungodly altars that were left behind by ancestors.

As I continued praying this morning, I felt a sudden bubble of happiness and lightness. Immediately, my flesh tried to dismiss it because the thought came, “If I’m feeling this good, something bad is going to happen.” But as I continued in prayer, I heard the Lord say:

“Don’t allow the enemy to pull you away from what I’m doing.”

I again saw the altars being smashed, and I came to understand that what I was feeling was the joy of the Lord and the love of the Lord.

Psalm 31:5 says, “Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.” And verse 8 says, “You have set my feet in a wide place.”

So I declare over myself and over those who are receiving this:

I am in the will of God.
My times are in His hands.
My steps are ordered by the Lord.
I am covered by the blood.
I am hidden in Christ.
I will never be ashamed.

I also had another vision in which I saw the Lord tying the tongues of people.

Psalm 31:20 says, “You shall hide me in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”

Therefore, whoever is rising against you to speak negatively over you, or to speak things that are contrary to what the Lord is speaking, the Lord is your defense. He is able to silence the strife of tongues and hide you in the secret place of His presence.

Hebrews 12:2 says that we are to look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who, “for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

This confirms what I was experiencing in prayer: there is a joy that is set before us, and that joy comes from Christ Jesus.

The joy of the Lord is our strength.

So for those who have been feeling weak, joy is coming to strengthen you. Do not allow the enemy to convince you that feeling joy means something bad is about to happen. There is a joy that comes from the presence of the Lord, and we must not pull away from what God is doing because of fear.

I also had a vision where I heard the Lord say:

“I am drawing a line.”

Psalm 36:11 immediately came back to my remembrance:

“Let not the foot of pride come against me.”

The foot of pride is going to meet the foot of the Lord.

The same foot of the Lord that I saw crushing the altars is crushing the altars of pride. Everything that exalts itself against the Lord will crumble.

Isaiah 28 speaks of the crown of pride being brought down. Verse 2 describes the Lord as mighty and strong, and verse 3 says that the crown of pride will be trampled underfoot.

But then verses 5–6 give another picture: “In that day the Lord of hosts will be a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty to the remnant of His people,” and He will be strength for those who turn back the battle at the gate.

And this connects back to what I sensed at the beginning of these visions: the Lord is doing something.

Isaiah 28:21–22 says that the Lord will come to do “a strange thing” and “an unusual deed.” The Lord is determined to deal with what has exalted itself against Him.

So I stand on what the Lord has shown me and what His Word confirms:

The foot of the Lord is crushing the altars.
The altars of pride are coming down.
The strife of tongues is being silenced.
The Lord is drawing a line.
He is hiding His people in the secret place of His presence.
He is ordering our steps and setting our feet in a wide place.
And there is a joy set before us that comes from Christ Jesus.

Do not allow the enemy to pull you away from what God is doing.

Receive the joy.
Receive the love of the Lord.
Let the joy of the Lord be your strength.

Your times are in His hands.
Your steps are ordered by Him.
You are covered by the blood.
You are hidden in Christ.
And you will not be ashamed.

As you continue to add fire to your altar, the Lord will arise as a man on war on your behalf.

He is Jehovah Gibbor.

He is your Father .

He is your redeemer.

Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

I pray you have a blessed week ahead.

Shalom Shalom,

Reesha.
